Paton's Pondering: People change. You change. Sometimes the change is painfully difficult. Sometimes it is a breeze. In most interactions, I am looking for a collaborator. A project partner. I could do it easily myself, but after years of observation, my conclusion is that it would not get done. With a 'coolaborator', I lose 50% of the revenue. Without you, I get 100% of nothing. I could change this behavior. I don't want to. I enjoy the social aspect of our coolaboration and I am not willing to go thru the neron twisting, psycho-ripping-down-building-up of my personality that would bring me kicking and screaming into a new form of being, that to be honest, holds no attraction to me. I'd rather be working with you. You're diligent, honest, caring, intelligent, true to your word and living life full out. Know thyself. Then know who you want to be. Then take your steps to grow organically into that redwood or rose or kelp or mountain wildflower... The 'gardeners' of the world will try to prune you into a shape you are not. Hold fast. We need your gifts.
